This month is all about gems. As per usual, I haven’t had the chance to put my moodboard together but, as you can guess, the next few days on this blog are going to be glittery and geometric (oh yeah!).
And, because it’s Easter, I had to get chocolate involved in some way. And ta-dah…some (fabulous) chocolate gems.
The recipe is super easy. All I needed was to find a gem mould. And the gods of the internet heard my prayer!
For the chocolates above, I dusted the mould with a little bit of edible golden dust before pouring over some melted white chocolate mixed with melted candy buttons (for the blue and red colours) that I also found on the internet.
For the ones below, I achieved the graffiti/granite/Jackson Pollock effect by drizzling melted yellow, red and blue colours before pouring over the melted white chocolate.
The beauty of this recipe is that you can customise your gems as much as you want. Your imagination is the limit!
